The membership of the ELVFD recently approved the purchase of a used Pumper to update our fleet. This engine will be the first due engine responding from Station 2 on Capshaw Rd. The purchase cost of this engine is $105,000. While the department has the funds to complete the purchase of this apparatus we are seeking funding to offset the financial capital impact this purchase will have on our capital budget. This truck has been well maintained and has many years of service life remaining. We look forward to having this truck in service by the end of March 2025.
